I grew up with a needle and thread practically in my hands. Inspired by my grandmother — who quilted for each of her grandchildren until her passing — I've been part of the craft my whole life. Today, I carry that legacy forward alongside my mom, with whom quilting remains one of my favorite shared traditions.

Beyond my personal projects, I give back through my craft, having donated five quilts to Megan's Mom Quilts and currently working on a Quilt of Valor for a veteran. I've shown projects at the Iowa State Fair through 4H and display my work at the Quiltmakers Shoppe in Manchester, Iowa, where my first original pattern is also available for purchase. This year, I'll be bringing my work to the local farmers' market as well.

As much as I love making, I love teaching too — I recently began leading classes based on my original pattern, and I have my sights set on writing and sharing many more.
